Ha-ha, I'm actually blogging on my iPad mini now, how cool is that? Okay, not really THAT cool to be honest but it is the newest toy that I got for myself so pardon the temporary addiction. Gosh the accessories that come along with the iPad mini aren't cheap, kind of regret not having the foresight to buy the cases and covers when I was in the US :(

Anyway, thought of churning out this random entry last night as I was about to go to bed. I just had this really funny flashback to when I was about 13 and I innocently asked a girl out for a movie; not because I was interested in her but because I was too lazy to ask out a big group of people. She said yes and throughout the entire outing I had the feeling that she thought I had asked her out on a date, LOL! And this actually happened a few more times with other friends who were girls, yikes! Hopefully they weren't too mad at that point of time, I was honestly just looking for friends to go out with.

Now that I think back to the few girlfriends I had before I turned 19, I can't help but laugh a little. Oh the peer pressures to get a girlfriend just so that one can fit in. If I could give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be to embrace who you are from an early age (oh and to keep the weight off when I became skinny in secondary 2). Maybe then finding a loved one right now wouldn't seem like such a jaded and hopeless process.

But, if you know me at all, I'm not one to dwell on the negatives :) I still have a girlfriend now, actually girlfriends (plural) to be exact. I don't see all of them as often as I like, but each are special to me in a different way. I guess I'd just like to take this moment to remember the friends that I don't get to see as regularly, let them know I still think of them and that I'm grateful to have them in my life :) And with that cheesy note, I'm ending off this entry here because my iPad mini is running out of battery!

XOXO, T.
